Karen McGregor, Ph.D. earned her doctorate from Michigan State University’s Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education Program, where she studied the needs of adult learners. She serves as Purdue Global’s first executive director of student success. With 15 years of experience in higher education, McGregor is at the forefront of supporting adult learners in the online education context.
In her current role, McGregor has implemented student success coaching. A key goal of her growing team to develop “best in class” basic needs support to change outcomes for first-generation, low income, and underserved populations.
From Midland, Michigan, McGregor enjoys spending time with her family and their feisty Boston terrier. She is an avid runner and loves any activity that allows her to be outside.
