Karttikeya Mangalam is the Founder and CEO of SigIQ.ai, an EdTech GenAI company building truly personalized AI tutors to democratize access to high-quality 1:1 learning worldwide. In July 2023, he founded SigIQ.ai with the vision of bringing the cost of personalized learning down to the cost of computation, enabling world-class tutoring at scale. SigIQ is headquartered in Berkeley, CA with a second office in Gurgaon, India. Under his leadership, SigIQ.ai raised over $10M+ in capital, co-led by The House Fund and GSV Ventures, to scale AI-tutoring to K-12 Math and beyond. He was also recognized on the Forbes’ 2025 30 Under 30 (Asia) in Consumer & Enterprise Technology as recognition of his leadership at SigIQ.ai. SigIQ’s flagship products include PadhAI (UPSC preparation in India) and EverTutor (K-12 Math in US/Canada). EverTutor is a voice-first AI tutoring platform built for 1:1 high-dosage Math tutoring and MTSS-aligned intervention, delivering curriculum- and standards-aligned instruction with learning science-based lesson design. EverTutor adapts to each learner in real time, providing just in time scaffolding and supporting multilingual delivery in 50+ languages). It is also designed to be FERPA/COPPA compliant, and fits into existing Tier 1–3 tutoring models without additional staffing. EverTutor provides a revolutionary cost-effective solution for schools to scale high-dosage 1:1 tutoring to students while staying within allotted budget constraints. Karttikeya earned his Ph.D. in AI in Berkeley AI Research (BAIR), advised by Prof. Jitendra Malik at UC Berkeley. His research work spans leading labs and industry teams, including Google DeepMind, Meta AI Research, and Stanford Vision Lab, where he was advised by Prof. Juan Carlos and Prof. Fei Fei Li. Karttikeya has co-authored 40+ research papers that have been published in several major international venues across Machine Learning, Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence; and has advised over 10+ master’s and undergraduate students that work at several major industrial labs like Cruise, Tesla, Apple & Amazon as well as are pursuing doctorate at academic institution like Princeton University. Karttikeya's research work has accumulated over 10,000+ citations and has brought him several accolades such as "AI Rising Star" in 2022 by KAUST, "YES scholar" in 2017 by Honda etc.
