With over 20 years of experience as an educator and 6 years supporting and leading school counselors in the 4th largest school district in California, Mrs. Komatz is deeply committed to fostering environments where students feel loved and valued. As a relationship-centered, equity-focused leader, Kate believes in the power of each person’s story and works to ensure every student is seen and heard. Holding a Master's in School Counseling and an Administrative Services Credential, Mrs. Komatz is a firm believer that when students feel supported and cared for, they thrive both academically and socially. Her passion lies in making a lasting, positive impact on every student’s journey.
