Kate Sutherland is a Managing Director at Tyton Partners, a strategic consulting and investment banking firm that serves the education sector. Her practice is focused on higher education, including institutions of all sizes and types, as well as the companies and non-profits that support them. Her recent engagements have included partnership, product development, and go-to-market strategy. Kate has extensive experience as an operator and growth leader, having most recently served as Vice President of Graduate Student Affairs and Enrollment at Regis College, where she oversaw all adult learner programs including campus-based and online graduate degrees. During her tenure, she launched over 15 new programs and doubled graduate enrollment. She also managed significant strategic initiatives as a member of the president’s cabinet, including launching a satellite campus and leading a long-term planning process with the board. Prior to Regis, Kate worked as a Consultant and Senior Manager at Public Consulting Group and as a Program and Engagement Manager at deNovis, Inc., a healthcare technology start-up. An autism advocate, Kate helped launch and continues to serve as a mentor at Multiplehub.org, an ecosystem for early-stage autism technology companies. She has also served on the boards of LearnLaunch and the Boston Special Education Parent Advisory Committee. She holds a BA in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University.
