Kavitta Ghai is the Co-Founder & CEO of Nectir, an early-stage startup revolutionizing how higher education institutions implement Artificial Intelligence. A first-generation founder, Kavitta built Nectir from her experiences as an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara, securing over $6M in venture funding to address the growing need for scalable, education-specific AI solutions. Under Kavitta’s leadership, Nectir has developed an enterprise AI infrastructure that enables universities to create personalized AI Assistants while maintaining complete control of their data and ensuring FERPA compliance. She has led the largest AI rollout in U.S. education history in partnership with the California Community College system, enabling measurable improvements in student achievement, all while prioritizing data privacy and accessibility. As a woman of color and neurodivergent founder, Kavitta Ghai views her experiences with Autism and ADHD as a fundamental advantage to building technology that anticipates and serves cognitive differences, making Nectir better for every student.
