Kevin McKee

Kevin McKee is the evaluations lead for Google DeepMind's AI for Education team. In this role, he directs work ranging from expert assessments of model pedagogy to large-scale randomized controlled trials of AI tutoring in the field. Kevin partners closely with external experts and community stakeholders to define educational priorities and values for AI systems, helping to align AI development with student and educator needs. More broadly, his research has focused on the design of inclusive and cooperative AI systems, spanning machine learning, social psychology, human-agent interaction, and AI ethics. Kevin also frequently collaborates on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, including co-founding and leading Google DeepMind's queer employee group.
