Dr. Kip Glazer is an experienced educator, school leader, and learning technologies expert. She is the proud principal of Mountain View High School (MVHS) in Mountain View, California, home of Google. She earned her Learning Technologies Doctorate from Pepperdine University and wrote her dissertation using a design-based research method on game-based learning. Over the past two decades, she has participated in several projects funded by the National Science Foundation, including CIRCLS, Educator CIRCLS, and EngageAI. In recent years, she has strongly advocated for the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in PreK-12 Schools and the importance of strong school leadership. She has appeared in numerous webinars hosted by the US Department of Education, the California Department of Education, Digital Promise, EdWeek, and many national and international organizations. After becoming a Google Innovator in 2024, she began working on an AI project with a group of students from the MVHS Tech Internship program she established earlier in the year. She believes in empowering students to become co-designers and have agency as a public school educator and leader, and she is thrilled to bring three MVHS students to the ASU+GSV Summit to host an interactive workshop with the students for the attendees.
