As a Ghanaian-American born in Connecticut, raised in Ohio, and educated in California, Kofi Bonsu is passionate about building, educating, and supporting diverse communities. Kofi currently serves as the Director of Program Management at Roadtrip Nation—a media production company dedicated to creating a movement of people empowered to define their own roads in life through the power of storytelling and education. Before joining Roadtrip Nation, Kofi served as a Senior Program Director at Kesem National, where he led the Midwest operations and supported children whose parents had cancer. He has also served at-promise youth in the family justice and foster care systems, as well as students in higher education counseling. Kofi is proud of his Ghanaian heritage and is inspired by his parents' many sacrifices and their service to the San Diego community as physicians.
