Dr. Korah Wiley is a learning scientist with over 20 years of education experience and currently serves as Senior Director of EdTech R&D at Digital Promise. Dr. Wiley’s interests lie at the intersection of classroom education, research, and development. She has co-developed instructional tools using emerging technologies, and is particularly interested in the methodological use of education technologies to understand the teaching and learning process. Driven by her academic and professional experiences as a researcher and classroom educator, Dr. Wiley has a passion for co-researching and co-designing innovations to improve teaching and learning. Dr. Wiley currently leads efforts to build capacity throughout the EdTech ecosystem and advance technologies capable of providing students with powerful learning experiences. She has designed and conducted professional development for educators, developed and led numerous STEM pathways programs for learners from communities who have been historically and systematically excluded from postsecondary education, and spearheaded state-level policy change to advance teacher training and retention. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University, and a Ph.D. in Science and Math Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
