Laila Brenner

Laila has over 20 years of fundraising experience and has served in various positions at Habitat for Humanity, The Trust for Public Land, Craigslist Foundation, and KCETLink. Prior to joining TalkingPoints, Laila was with Code for America where she spent 6+ years scaling philanthropy and helping millions access food and other basic needs. Laila earned her Masters in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and is co-author of the book Nonprofit Fundraising 101. As Head of Philanthropy at TalkingPoints, Laila leads the organization’s fundraising team and philanthropic revenue strategy. Laila views fundraising as an act of love and an invitation for others to help change the world. Outside of work, Laila keeps busy with two kids, chickens, and a variety of rotating hobbies.
