Lane Dilg is the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Global Affairs, at OpenAI, where she supports OpenAI’s mission of ensuring that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. Lane’s work at OpenAI focuses on safe and responsible deployment of OpenAI models and tools in areas including accessibility, agriculture, education, health, humanitarian response, law, policy, and scientific discovery. Prior to joining OpenAI, Lane spent more than 15 years in the public sector, where her roles spanned advising the U.S. government on public investments in clean energy technologies; managing a city through the COVID-19 pandemic; counseling CXO leadership of a global research university; prosecuting organized crime and child exploitation offenses as a federal prosecutor; and serving as a policy counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Lane is a graduate of Yale Law School, Harvard Divinity School, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently lives in Washington D.C. with her family.
