Lina Bankert

Lina Bankert is a Managing Director and Partner in BCG’s Public Sector and Social Impact practices and serves as the global lead for Education and Employment topics. Lina works with clients on strategic planning, performance & sustainability improvement, organization design, talent pipeline development, and large-scale transformation. Her work sits at the intersection of government, education (preK-12, postsecondary, and adult), and industry, and she has extensive experience facilitating change between private and social sector organizations. Lina serves on the Advisory council for the Chicago Public Education Fund, as a board member and the education lead for BCG's Center for Illinois' Future, and on the ASU GSV Workforce Insights Board. Prior to BCG, Lina was a Partner with Bellwether Education and co-led the Strategic Advising Practice Area as an expert in K-20 education. Lina also has a decade of experience in management consulting and investment banking, both as a generalist and as a specialist in the Education and Knowledge Services sectors. Lina holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband and two children.
