Lisa serves as Deputy Athletics Director within Sun Devil Athletics at Arizona State University. In this role, she provides strategic direction and oversight of the department’s external units, focusing on execution and revenue generation across corporate partnerships and ticket sales and service. She serves as a liaison to key external business partners and ASU units, including brand and marketing, legal counsel, and contracted service providers. Lisa oversees revenue generation, finance, and human resources, leading the department’s fiscal oversight and financial strategy while implementing short- and long-range business planning aligned with the department’s strategic plan. Under her leadership, commercial teams have achieved 20% year-over-year revenue growth, record ticket sales and attendance, secured a local television content and distribution agreement, and established incremental multi-year six- and seven-figure alliances with key corporate partners. Previously, Lisa served as ASU’s Vice President of Enterprise Development, advancing corporate and public-private partnerships in collaboration with senior leadership. She joined ASU in 2018 as Executive Director for Starbucks Initiatives, leading the university’s partnership with Starbucks. During her tenure, the flagship Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP) grew from 10,000 to more than 23,000 participants, and total ASU graduates increased from 1,000 to more than 10,000. Additional initiatives launched during this time included access to more than 100 short-form courses for Starbucks partners, powered by ASU, and the Sustainability Innovation and Learning Lab in Costa Rica. Before joining ASU, Lisa held strategic leadership roles with multinational firms including Republic Services, Henkel Consumer Goods, and Honeywell International. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. An avid runner, Lisa has completed more than 20 half and full marathons, including the New York City Marathon in 2024. She is a member of ASU’s Women and Philanthropy and supports the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. In her most important role, she is a mom to her daughter, Avery, and their two dogs, Millie and Cocoa.
