Lokesh Pampatti is a high school senior with a strong interest in computer science, sustainability, and finance. Selected as one of 14 students from a pool of several hundred statewide for the Governor’s Honors Program in Computer Science, he became the first sophomore from his district to attend. As class president, Lokesh organizes a variety of school and community-wide events, ranging from educational initiatives to engaging activities. As a member of the Douglas County Youth Commission, he contributes to civic improvement through his work at the district courthouse. An MIT FutureMakers student, Lokesh and his team, The EcoGuardians, developed GreenGuard, a recycling app promoting sustainability. He is the recipient of a Harvard Book Prize, the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and won the 2024 MIT FutureMakers Create-a-thon.
