Loni Mahanta

Loni is the Chief Operating Officer of the AI Education Project, whose mission is to ensure AI literacy for every student. With a rich history in guiding companies through the intricacies of the digital age, Loni's role at the AI Education Project is instrumental in preparing students for a future deeply impacted by AI advancements. Loni is also a Nonresident Fellow in Economic Studies at Brookings, where she focuses on tech policy and emerging tech. Loni most recently served as the Vice President, Policy and Government Affairs at OpenSea.io, an NFT marketplace. Loni previously served as the VP, Government Relations and Public Policy at Zillow, where she worked to modernize and simplify the real estate journey for consumers by building a seamless end-to-end experience. Prior to Zillow, Loni spent six years at Lyft, serving, among other roles, as the Vice President of Future of Work, navigating the complexities of the gig economy and the changing nature of work.
