Luyen Chou is the CEO/founder of DeweyLearn, Inc., which uses multimodal AI to improve and deepen human understanding. A long-time leader in the field of education technology, Luyen is a frequent speaker on topics including learning science and the impact of artificial intelligence on education. Prior to DeweyLearn, Luyen was Chief Learning Officer at 2U, and Chief Product Officer at Trilogy Education. Previously, Luyen served as Chief Product Officer at Pearson Education. Luyen also serves on the board of Learning.com, and as an advisor on product strategy and artificial intelligence for numerous education organizations and companies. Having started his career as a high school history teacher at The Dalton School in New York City, Luyen maintains his connection with the classroom as the founder of several K-12 schools, including The School at Columbia University and Brooklyn Prospect Charter Schools. He holds an A.B. in Philosophy from Harvard College and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College.
