Mark Serdar

Mark Serdar is a seasoned investor, operator and entrepreneur based in Chicago.
He is currently a Board Member and Strategic Advisor to Kokomo24/7®, a robust safety, health and wellness platform which offers a variety of tools for efficient management of complex situations on a daily basis, or in case of emergency.
In the field of Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Serdar is working on numerous initiatives to implement AI solutions across industries. Aside from his work with Kokomo leveraging data responsibly to take advantage of AI in school settings, he is a founder of Sembridge, LLC which is building a cybersecurity compliance platform for AI, focused on identifying bias. He also leads a project with the Vandrevala Foundation, India’s only free mental health crisis services, to build a generative AI co-pilot for counselors leveraging the Foundation’s massive dataset of sessions.
Mark is also working as an Operating Partner with Intrepid Capital executing roll-up strategies in the cyber technology, behavioral health, and business process outsourcing industries.
Previously, Mark was an Executive Vice President and CSO at Expert Global Solutions, Inc. and spent 12 years as a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase in multiple global leadership roles including Chief Technology Officer for the Corporate Investment Bank and also firm-wide Head of Globalization Strategy.
Mark earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois.
