Matt Miller

Matt Miller is the Co-Founder and CEO of OKO Labs, an education technology company pioneering "pro-social" Artificial Intelligence to foster collaborative learning in K-12 classrooms. A veteran edtech product leader and technologist, Matt has spent his career building scalable solutions at the intersection of learning science and technology. Before founding OKO, Matt served as the CTO and VP of Labs at Amplify Education and held executive leadership roles at Flatiron School. His work is grounded in the belief that AI in the classroom should not isolate students in 1:1 screen time, but rather serve as a catalyst for human connection—building essential skills like empathy, teamwork, and resilience alongside academic rigor. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Intelligent Systems from Columbia University.
