Megan Brewster

Megan Brewster is Director of Impact Strategy at the University of Utah's Sorenson Impact Center. She currently leads several projects with government and philanthropic partners across the issue areas of equity in higher education, entrepreneurship, and economic development, including the MAPS project which focuses on charting the shifting landscape of higher education. Megan’s career has centered on changing systems to better support underserved groups in achieving social and economic mobility. Prior to joining the Center, she worked in strategy, communications, and partnerships for a variety of mission-driven public and private institutions. Her experience spans the sectors of higher education, healthcare, edtech, and social impact.Megan holds an MBA from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor’s in English Literature from the University of Utah. She enjoys exploring Utah’s mountains and eateries with her husband and two young children.
