Meg Grothman is a mission-driven educational leader dedicated to expanding access, opportunity, and innovation for learners across the nation. As a senior leader with ASU Prep Global, Meg has spent more than a decade designing and implementing next-generation learning models that blend high-quality digital instruction, personalized pathways, and community-anchored partnerships—ensuring that every student, regardless of geography or circumstance, can access a future-ready education. Across her tenure, Meg has designed innovative education models including hybrid academies, microschools within schools, virtual-plus-in-person tutoring networks, community learning hubs, and dual-credit pipelines that prepare students for college and career. Her leadership is rooted in a deep belief that schools thrive when educators are supported; communities are engaged, and learners have access to rich pathways that honor their strengths and aspirations. She has guided systemwide projects such as the Copper Corridor STEM and workforce initiative, Sierra Vista’s Hybrid Academy, Pima JTED Digital+, CTE expansions, and partnerships with national and international schools seeking ASU Prep’s expertise. A former high school math teacher, Meg brings both instructional expertise and a systems-level perspective. She is known for her ability to translate complex problems into practical, collaborative solutions; to build trust among diverse stakeholders; and to articulate a clear vision for how technology, human-centered design, and high-quality curriculum can work together to accelerate student success. Her work has supported thousands of teachers and tens of thousands of students, especially in communities historically left out of innovation efforts. Outside of her professional role, Meg is a proud mother, storyteller, and avid explorer who finds joy in travel, family, and creating experiences that connect people. Her leadership reflects that same spirit: relational, imaginative, and anchored in purpose.
