Solving the Quiet Crisis in Math Instruction

The 2025 State of the American Student report from the Center on Reinventing Public Education highlights the urgent reality of declining math achievement nationwide and the complex factors driving those trends. Yet it also reveals that there are promising examples of schools and districts that are reversing course. In this interactive Glass Classroom session, participants will hear from leaders at two such schools that are leveraging AI to accelerate math learning. Together, we’ll unpack what’s working, explore the conditions that make innovation possible, and workshop how these strategies could translate to participants’ own local contexts.
