Megan Mccarthy

Megan is an Officer for Strategy, Planning, and Management on the K-12 R&D team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In this role, she provides strategic support for the K-12 R&D portfolio and for US Program’s AI initiatives. Megan joined the foundation in 2016 and has held various roles across K-12 and US Program over the past eight years. Prior to the foundation, Megan was Chief of Staff to the COO of New Profit, where she supported the organization’s strategic planning, performance management, and board relations. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Northeastern University.
