Melissa Loble is a globally recognized education futurist and the chief academic officer at Instructure, where she helps educators and institutions future-proof learning. With more than 25 years of experience across K–12, higher education, nonprofit leadership, and edtech, she brings a unique perspective on how learning must evolve in a rapidly changing world. At Instructure, Melissa guides institutions in translating strategic goals into actionable plans that support lifelong learning and readiness. She chairs the 1EdTech board of directors and serves on the CSU AI Workforce Acceleration Board, advancing global efforts in interoperability, digital ecosystems, and AI-enabled workforce preparation. Melissa began her career as a K-12 educator and has over 20 years of experience in Higher education. She is currently an instructor at the University of California, Irvine, and holds several advisory roles at organizations such as Internet2, Terracotta, and Utah Valley University. A connector and change agent, Melissa brings together researchers, practitioners, technologists, and policymakers to shape the future of learning. She is also a frequent keynote speaker, writer, and co-host of the EduCast 3000 podcast.
