Melissa Serio

Melissa Serio leads Educator Research Partnerships at GoGuardian, an education technology company helping to promote effective teaching and equitable engagement while helping empower educators to keep students safe. In her role, she partners with educators and experts to inform and shape the digital learning experience. Melissa began her career as a Teach For America corps member teaching high school in St. Louis. Before becoming a Middle School Principal in Los Angeles, she coached teachers for several years. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of the Pacific and a master’s in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
