Michael Discenza

Michael Discenza leads the product, engineering, design, and solution/integration teams at SchooLinks. He built much of the early SchooLinks’ offering, bringing many new products to market with school district partners, including a college application tool, an academic planner, and a full-featured work-based learning system. Michael is actively working for more comprehensive data standards adoption across the K-12 education and technology ecosystem and has served as an active member of Ed-Fi Alliance’s Technical Advisory Group for open data standards. Earlier in his career, Michael held both technical and business roles, including machine learning/data science, full-stack software engineering, consulting, and venture capital) and has industry experience in finance and advertising technology. Michael graduated Cum Laude with a BA double major in Statistics and Sociology and earned a MA in Statistics, both from Columbia University.
