Osarugue “Michelle” Odemwingie is the chief executive officer at Achievement Network. Michelle joined ANet nearly a decade ago as a coach and has since held roles as chief of school and system services and chief of staff, among others. In previous roles, Michelle supported senior leaders with an eye towards the organization’s long-term goals and strategic direction. This includes spearheading ANet’s Breakthrough Results Fund in partnership with five school districts across the country. She worked closely with school and system leaders on ensuring equitable instruction in their classrooms to more deeply understand student needs and the ways school and system leaders empower the educators in their schools. Prior to joining ANet, she spearheaded the ThinkMath team in California and DC, supporting instructional leaders around math enrichment and intervention programs, as well as supporting new teachers through TNTP and Teach for America. Michelle is a graduate of Stanford University.
