Michelle Stefano

Dr. Michelle Stefano is the Director of Learning Experience and Program Design at Miami Dade College (MDC Online). She has over twenty years of experience in higher education administration, teaching, and instructional design. Her professional goals include developing accessible, efficient, and inclusive learning environments for all types of learners. As Director of Learning Experience, she empowers a group of instructional designers to work with instructors on developing quality courses and utilizing the power of AI and educational technology tools and services to maximize student learning, collaboration, & critical thinking. In addition to her role as Director, she serves as the Quality Matters Coordinator at the College and has earned the QM Master Reviewer Certificate and completed her QM Teaching Online Certificate (TOC). Dr. Stefano is curious, solution-driven, resourceful, a lifelong learner and is a design thinker.
