Nadja Young is Chief Brand Officer at MetaMetrics®, where she leads brand strategy, communications, and government affairs for the organization behind the Lexile® and Quantile® Frameworks. A former National Board Certified teacher and senior public-sector executive, Nadja brings more than 20 years of experience working with governors, legislators, state education chiefs, federal agencies, and education systems nationwide. She previously served as Senior Director of the Education and State & Local Government Practice at SAS, leading large-scale analytics and AI initiatives across all 50 states. Nadja is a board member of the National Math + Science Initiative and a Visioning Panel Member for the 2025 NAEP Mathematics Framework. A frequent national speaker, Nadja has presented at events hosted by the National Governors Association, Council of Chief State School Officers, Education Commission of the States, Hunt Institute, National Conference of State Legislatures, and major global analytics and innovation forums. Her speaking topics include universal measurement systems, literacy and numeracy policy, AI-enabled decision-making, career-connected learning, and the role of data in advancing equity and long-term student success.
