Nate Laverriere

Nathan Laverriere is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients in the technology sector, with a focus on learning technology. He has over 15 years of investment banking experience, having built extensive relationships across the technology sector and with financial sponsors, with proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Moelis, Nathan was a Senior Managing Director at SVB Securities and a Managing Director at UBS focused on advising Tech companies. Previously, he co-founded a technology start-up and was in the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group at Jefferies. Nate worked on many key transactions including, but not limited to, the sale of Dreambox Learning to Discovery Education; the sale of Accelerate Learning to Providence; the sale of Discovery Education to Clearlake; the significant investment by Blackstone (NYSE: BX) in Renaissance Learning; the acquisition of Frontline Education by Roper; the acquisition by Elliott of DreamBox Learning; the sale of Ellucian to Blackstone and Vista Equity; the investment in EAB by BC Partners; the sale of Nearpod to Renaissance Learning; the sale of Turnitin to Advance; the sale of PowerSchool and PeopleAdmin to Onex; the sale of Frontline Education to Thoma Bravo; the IPOs of Coursera, KnowBe4 and PowerSchool and the financings of Anthology and Liaison. Nathan holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.
