Nikhil Barshikar

Nikhil Barshikar is the Founder and CEO of Imarticus Learning, India’s leading professional education company specializing in finance, analytics, technology, marketing, and management programs. Nikhil is also an Advisor & ICM at BlinC Invest, a Venture Capital firm committed to funding EdTech and FinTech start-ups. With over 18 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets, Nikhil has held senior leadership roles at global financial institutions, including Lehman Brothers and Nomura Securities. A finance graduate from Rutgers University with a joint MBA from Columbia University and London Business School, Nikhil began his career at Lehman Brothers, New York, and later spearheaded large operations and technological transformations at Nomura Securities India. His tenure in the financial services industry highlighted a significant skills gap among professionals, inspiring him to found Imarticus Learning in 2012. Under his leadership, Imarticus Learning has transformed the lives of over 1 million learners, placed 75,000+ students with 3,500+ hiring partners, and partnered with premier institutes like IIMs, IITs, ISB, and KPMG. The company was recognized as one of the "World’s Most Transformational Growth Companies in Digital Learning" by GSV 150 and won the ET Business Leaders Award in 2024.
