
Nikki Eatchel is a global leader in assessment design, psychometrics, and testing strategy, bringing more than 25 years of experience shaping large‑scale measurement programs. As Chief Assessment Officer at Prometric, she oversees Test Development Services and leads consulting practices that help organizations design secure, valid, and innovative exams across industries. A past Chair of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and former Chair of its Security Committee, Ms. Eatchel has long contributed to advancing assessment policy, security, and best practices. She has delivered more than 60 presentations at major industry conferences, including ATP, E‑ATP, CCSSO, IPMA, ATD, and CLEAR. Her expertise centers on blending psychometric rigor with practical innovation, supporting credentialing bodies and educational institutions as they adapt to new technologies and delivery models while maintaining fairness and validity. Her work has influenced how global programs measure knowledge, skills, and readiness. Ms. Eatchel holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
