Nikolaus Namba

Nikolaus is a dedicated education leader with over 20 years of experience driving transformation in schools and districts through competency-based, learner-centered approaches. As a Managing Partner at Transcend, where he has served for six years, Nikolaus brings a strong track record of committed leadership rooted in empathy, relationships, and serving learners first. Prior to joining Transcend, Nikolaus served as Director of 21st Century Learning for Lindsay Unified School District, where he led in a district-wide shift to a performance-based, learner-centered system. Earlier, he was Principal of a K-8 school in Lindsay Unified and Chief Academic Officer of Ingenium Schools, a Los Angeles-based charter management organization focused on personalized, competency-based education. Nikolaus began his career as a primary teacher and academic coach in Westminster Public Schools, Colorado. He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California Lutheran University. His leadership is defined by a commitment to learning for all, innovation, and empowering educators to create transformative learning experiences for all students.
