Nithya Govindasamy

Nithya Govindasamy is the Senior Director of Policy at Advance CTE, where she leads national efforts to strengthen career pathways and expand high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) and work-based learning aligned to workforce and industry needs. She brings deep experience designing and scaling work-based learning systems across K–12, postsecondary, and workforce education, with prior leadership roles at Dallas ISD, Paul Quinn College, and the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Her work focuses on bridging education and workforce systems to ensure learners gain meaningful, real-world experiences that lead to economic opportunity, drawing on cross-sector expertise spanning education, workforce, and industry.
