Patrick Erker is a Partner and Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group and a founding leader of BCG U, the firm’s learning and upskilling business. Working at the intersection of workforce transformation and emerging technology, he helps organizations build skills and create value in an AI-driven economy, with a focus on human dignity, purpose, and long-term impact. Over two stints at BCG, Patrick has advised hundreds of client accounts on learning strategy, upskilling, workforce transformation, and other topics. He also serves as a global co-lead of BCG U’s core consulting skills offering, working with strategy teams, senior leaders, and others to build problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. His perspective is further shaped by former ed tech leadership roles at Section, Guild Education, and Entangled Group, and by stints in corporate finance and investment banking. Patrick began his career as a Teach For America corps member. He holds an MBA with distinction, a master’s degree in teaching, and a bachelor’s degree. He lives in California.
