Paula Renfro is Chief Academic Officer for Duval County Public Schools, Florida’s sixth-largest district. She oversees academic programs and policy for 130,000 students and led the development of Duval HomeRoom, a districtwide virtual learning platform recognized for equitable design. Paula has extensive expertise in assessment and accountability and previously served as principal of two Montessori schools. She is recognized for creating systems that meet the needs of all teachers while driving student progress across the district.
