Phillip Kim

Phillip J. Kim is Executive Director of Michelson Philanthropies and Managing Director of Michelson Impact Ventures, and has been a key leader within the organization since 2009. With nearly two decades of experience in policy change, venture investing, and philanthropy, Phillip oversees organizational strategy, operational alignment, and cross-foundation collaboration across the Michelson ecosystem. Through this work, he advances the vision of founders and co-chairs Dr. Gary K. Michelson and Alya Michelson to use philanthropy as a catalyst for systemic change. This includes scaling innovative solutions across medical research, economic justice, and animal welfare through strategic grantmaking, social enterprises, impact investing, and public advocacy.
