Pooja Jayaram

Pooja Jayaram is the Senior Vice President and Head of University Partnerships at Emeritus, the largest Edtech emerging from India, with a global footprint serving nearly 200,000 students globally. Pooja has played a pivotal role in building Emeritus; journeying from start-up to scale up, making high quality education accessible and affordable, over the last decade.In her current role, Pooja is spearheading future growth initiatives in Asia, by bridging the gap between top ranked universities and students across South Asia and South-East Asia. Notably, Pooja has enabled a member of the G08 Australian universities to enter the Indian market, fostering meaningful collaboration and partnership. She has also empowered top QS-ranked universities in Southeast Asia to transition to online education, expanding access for students beyond borders and creating impact through mission. Prior to working with Emeritus, Pooja was leading Strategic group partnerships at American Express Asia, managing India and Singapore markets, driving payments. This was right after a successful innings at The McCann Worldgroup; where she was at the helm of launching large global brands across categories. Being passionate about driving change through dedication, her commitment to educational equity and access has earned her recognition as a catalyst for change in the Asian education community.
