Pragya Misra

Pragya is OpenAI's first hire in India to lead Public Policy & Partnerships to shape AI policy and explore partnerships that amplify voices from the Global South. Before OpenAI, Pragya spearheaded Public Affairs at Truecaller, the leading caller identification app, where she cultivated key relationships across government, media, partners, civil society, and investors to advance Truecaller's mission of safer communication. Pragya joined Truecaller from WhatsApp, where she was their first hire in India to manage Communications and driving reputation and advocacy efforts.She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Management Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University.
