Prateek Maheshwari is the Co-Founder of Physics Wallah (PW), India’s leading EdTech platform aimed at democratising education at scale; and Chair of India EdTech Consortium (IEC). He partnered with Alakh Pandey (Founder & CEO, PW) in 2020 to launch PW.Prateek is passionate about transforming the educational landscape of India and brings with him a notable academic background and industry acumen. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. With 14 years of entrepreneurial experience in tech-based ventures, he has founded multiple startups in the FoodTech and EdTech sectors.Since PW's inception, Prateek's role as Co-Founder has been crucial in driving the organisation's strategic growth. He has led the development of new initiatives, including The Gurukulam School, PW Skills, Impact Financing, Government Partnerships,all aimed at ensuring accessibility of education and boosting youth employment. His mission is to reach the heart of Bharat, extending beyond internet and hardware limitations, by addressing India's real challenges. Prateek’s focus has always been to leverage technology not just as a tool to scale, but as a bridge to connect, empower, and inspire students across every corner of India. As a thought leader in the EdTech sector, Prateek has been a keynote speaker at various government and business platforms, including the Bengal Global Business Summit 2023 and AWS.
