Prue Clifford is the Executive Director of the Work-Based Learning Alliance (WBLA). A senior commercial leader with extensive experience across strategy, partnerships and communications, Prue is dedicated to making high-quality career connected learning opportunities available to high school students across the United States in an equitable, accessible and sustainable way. Prue’s personal journey, combined with her professional background including work in sectors as broad as consumer goods and education technology uniquely positions her to help bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace, and inspire tomorrow’s workforce through non-traditional pathways. Responsible for WBLA’s growth and strategic partnerships across the US, Prue has an in-depth understanding of the needs of educators, industry and government, and how together they can successfully support students at scale to discover their passions, develop their skills, and better understand the career options available to them. Prue studied International Relations at the Australian National University and now resides in Cambridge Massachusetts with her husband and two young sons.
