Raghu Santanam is Professor and McCord Chair of Business in the Information Systems Department at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He directs AZNext, a U.S. Department of Labor–funded digital workforce initiative, and serves on the Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Board.

His research examines the impact of technology and digital strategy on businesses, consumers, and society, with a focus on health information technology, digital platforms, augmented intelligence, and the future of work. He has studied platform strategies, software markets, electronic medical records, personal health record adoption, and technology-enabled decision support for public health. His work has been published in leading journals, including Management Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and Decision Support Systems.

He previously served as a Henry Woodburn Fellow at SUNY Buffalo. He holds degrees from the National Institute of Engineering, the Indian Institute of Technology, and SUNY Buffalo. An AIS Distinguished Member, he has received distinguished research and multiple teaching awards from W. P. Carey.
