Raymond Sass

Raymond Sass joined Lightcast in 2025 as Senior Vice President for the education industry to help execute a mission of supercharging education strategy with labor-market data analytics and workforce skills insights. Sass brings over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and government,specializing in bridging strategy and execution in complex organizations. His book-end experiences in higher ed range from Vice President for Strategy and Innovation at a $9B, R1 university to Vice President for Strategy and Dean of the MBA program at struggling-to-thriving small private university. In government, he brought a data focus to policy and communications roles, including as Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate, Speechwriter for a cabinet official, and Chief of Staff for a federal agency policy shop.
