Renato Feder

Renato Feder is the São Paulo State Secretary of Education. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Formerly Secretary of Education of Paraná (2019–2022), he led the state to first place in Brazil’s national education index (Ideb 2021) and implemented one of the country’s most recognized remote learning systems during the pandemic. With over a decade of experience as a teacher and school manager, Renato has also taught economics at Mackenzie University and studied education systems in countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Israel, Finland, and the United States.
