Renee Laverdiere

Renee Laverdiere, PhD, is a Managing Director and Partner at BCG’s Houston office, where she specializes in education, employment, and welfare. A member of the US Education leadership team, the Houston Social Impact Node, and a core member of the People & Organization practice, she leads initiatives leveraging generative AI tools for workforce transformation and education strategy. Renee has deep expertise in developing strategies for digital learning, advising on higher education investment, and driving academic innovation. She has collaborated with major institutions like the Gates Foundation and the Greater Houston Partnership, fostering education-business alliances and advancing economic mobility. Renee holds a PhD and MA in mathematics from Rice University and a BA in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, graduating summa cum laude.
