Reuben Thiessen

Reuben Thiessen is a learning technologist at the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, where he supports researchers and faculty in the intersection of AI + Education and other emerging technology projects like experiential virtual media. He is passionate about finding innovative ways to use technology to support learning. Prior to Stanford, Reuben was the Chief Technology Officer at Edify.org, where he led the development and implementation of educational technology programs in low-fee independent schools spanning 15 countries across Africa and Latin America. He holds an M.A. in Education from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
