Richard Wilson

Richard is an alumnus of Teach For Australia who left a career in management consulting to pursue his true passion of working with young people. After working as a high school teacher in Melbourne, he co-founded Maths Pathway in 2013 to bring the joy and wonder of maths to learners around the world. Maths Pathway provides a learning science based approach to education that allow schools to double their mathematics learning outcomes in middle school and high school grades.Richard has been awarded an Echoing Green Fellowship and a Teach For All Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship for his work to close the achievement gap in mathematics, and consulted with the Australian government to develop the recently released national Mathematics Curriculum.
