Rishi Nayar

Rishi serves as SVP, Global R&D for Ellucian, the leading higher education technology solutions provider, and Country Head for Ellucian India. He leads teams delivering enterprise SaaS solutions, while growing the depth and breadth of business functions of the India GCC. His 26+ year career spans multiple domains, including enterprise software & mobility, e-commerce, industrial IoT and now Higher Education. Rishi has built and led organizations spanning North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to Ellucian, Rishi held leadership positions in India at GE Transportation, Wabtec and Amazon India. His time in Silicon Valley encompassed technical and leaderships roles at Oracle, Sybase and SAP. Rishi is an experienced public speaker, has created and run global initiatives for diversity and inclusion, and is eager to continue learning how to create value in the education landscape of India. He holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering, Mumbai University and an MS in Computer Science from Iowa State U.
