Robert LoCascio

Rob LoCascio is an American technology entrepreneur and product visionary whose career spans more than three decades at the forefront of digital communication and artificial intelligence. He is best known as the founder of LivePerson, a company he started in the mid-1990s that pioneered live chat on the web and helped define the modern category of conversational commerce. Under Rob’s leadership, LivePerson grew into a global public company with more than 3,000 employees, over $500 million in annual revenue, and a platform used by many of the world’s largest brands. Long before “AI” became a mainstream term, Rob was focused on one core question: how technology could help people feel heard, understood, and connected at scale. That philosophy guided LivePerson’s evolution from simple human chat to sophisticated AI-driven messaging systems handling billions of conversations. After nearly 28 years leading LivePerson, Rob entered a new chapter as a founder with a more personal mission.
