Robin Wactler is the Senior Director for the Core Production System Training team with overall responsibility for the leading the training optimization efforts across the enterprise, ensuring the development and enhancement of applicable training courseware and modernizing the training system through technological advancements and advanced learning modalities. Before taking this role, Robin was the Business Aviation Maintenance Training Solutions Leader and Group Leader of Aircraft Technical Training at CAE. She has also spent time in a joint venture with Honeywell Aerospace, leading the aviation components training for global consumption. Most of the roles she has held have been focused on technical training, operations and technology within the aviation and aerospace environment. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics with a concentration in Helicopter Flight from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from Arizona State University. She is an Instrument-rated Commercial Helicopter Pilot and a licensed Naval Air Traffic Controller. She is currently finishing the accrediting requirements for her sUAS (Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) license. In her spare time, she also aids the FAA Safety Team as a Lead Representative, providing ongoing training for pilots and mechanics in multiple metropolitan areas.
