Rose Else-Mitchell

Rose was most recently President, Education at Scholastic, the global children's book publisher which provides curriculum, teacher resources, and classroom libraries to K-12 schools. Rose has extensive experience as a Board Member and R & D adviser to a variety of education organizations including school boards and edtech companies in areas such as reading, speech recognition, analytics, implementation science, and student mental health. Currently she serves as a Trustee of the Success Academy Schools, the highest achieving charter school network in the country serving over 20,000 students prek-12. From 2016-2019, Rose was Chief Learning Officer and EVP at HMH, the largest provider of education materials to K-12 schools in the United States, overseeing Efficacy Research, Learning Science, Platform & Data Analytics and a vast array of in-person & virtual Professional Services.
